Originally a journalist working for The Guardian, The Face, The Observer, The Independent, GQ and Harper’s Bazaar, I began working in television on C4's legendary late night series The Word. ​ 

 

Since then I’ve produced iconic shows as diverse as Around the World in 80 Raves, Passengers, The Story of Light Entertainment, The Girlie Show and The Big Breakfast - and now have hundreds of credits in almost every genre from Factual, Specialist Factual, Features, Factual Entertainment, Reality and Entertainment. ​See the CV page for more details...

 

I retain an insatiable passion for coming up with ideas and making TV - and, when not pitching, am often called in by TV companies as an expert 'Edit Doctor' to discreetly fix problems at the development stage or in the edit.

As an Exec Producer/Showrunner I have run huge teams on big budget series, managed both large and small Indies and was lucky enough to work as a Commissioning Editor at C4 in its glory years producing award-winning shows and critical hits like Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster and The Importance of Being Morrissey...
